Luckily, the electoral college doesn’t meet until December 17th to cast their votes for President. Remember, when we fight, we win. Use your voices! Make petitions, sign petitions, share petitions, contact the electors of your state (remember to be respectful), write letters, and spread the word!

If Kamala alone managed to flip electoral votes in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Missouri, West Virginia, Arkansas, Louisiana, Idaho, Kentucky, and South Dakota, she would end up with 288 electoral votes.

In these states, individuals can petition electors to change their votes by organizing campaigns, writing letters, or creating petitions to appeal to their conscience. You can also contact the electors of your state directly and politely ask them to consider.

Although many of these states have few electoral votes, the lack of binding laws can create opportunities for electors to act against their pledge, particularly in controversial elections.

These states include Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, and Texas.

While most states have laws binding electors to their pledge, 16 states do not enforce any such requirement, giving their electors the legal freedom to vote as they choose.

Faithless electors are Electoral College members who vote for a candidate other than the one they pledged to support, and their ability to do so varies depending on state laws.
