DW for sure has a different visual style than Pixar, but I’m not sure I’m following you on the “bolder” part… both studios rely on franchise titles and at the same time try some new things, I didn’t particularly like some of the recent Pixar but I could say the same for DW

it’s funny to see people disrespecting Disney/Pixar citing a movie written and directed by a person (Chris Sanders) that worked in WDAS for 20 years before moving to DW… Chris brought Disney quality to DW animated movies
