It's always surprising how good the results can be from available ingredients. Mint-based developers create low grain and highly detailed images with solid density. It's also much more pleasant to work with these developers compared to more toxic commercial products or the stink of caffenol.

Next up on the list of polyphenolic developer ingredients is Spearmint, which I happened to have lying around. Boiled it up and made a tea. This worked very well and I think could be used reliably in the future as an easily renewable, cheap and sustainable developing solution.
