I’ve been gaming since the mid>late 70s. That was a blip-blip Pong game. Then came the home computers: ZX81, Spectrum, C64, Atari ST. I loved those early days, they seemed like the start of something very new & exciting.

‘Dungeon Master’ happened in 1988. I’d never played anything like it: there was a spell casting system, twiddly inventories with weapons & armour, hunger & thirst, puzzles, & monsters.
And it ran on a system with 1 Mb RAM. Truly groundbreaking.
