My grandma had polio when she was 2. She struggled her entire life with the results. Every single day for 90 years. A leg that was completely useless.

It makes me sick that this guy would abandon a vaccine that has saved countless kids from such a horrible disease.

When that includes the spreading of misinformation, don't be surprised when someone corrects you.

I wasn't addressing the H1b portion of Vivek's argument.

That said, you are incorrect about them being contractors. The wage payment structure / benefits requirements of the H1B program require the H1B holders to be W2 employees, which are treated as OpEx. Please look this up prior to responding

I wish you would have addressed Vivek's mediocrity argument a bit further. He is a awful guy, but at least in that part of his argument there is a sliver of truth.

The US ranks 34th in Math, 16th in Science, 9th in Reading (PISA).

That is pretty mediocre.

And I'm perfectly happy to lay most of the blame here on Republican policies, but the fact remains we have a problem, which neither party has put in much work to solve.

Thank you. I have a couple more in the works. Appreciate your comment.

Its a good point. We could add to that list the legions of red-pilled "comedians" and manisphere influencers that have appeared like cockroaches since the pandemic.

Young men in particular are in a really bad place.

Better than Musk or Trump? By 1000 miles. But unfortunately Biden will not be remembered for what he accomplished in office, but rather his refusal to step aside until the final minute leading to a second Trump term. Personally I will struggle to ever forgive him.

The Biden admin doesn't have much to say about a lot of important topics unfortunately.

Almost every person who has worked for or with Trump has ended up feeling "used and abused". Feel sorry for Loomer? Not a chance.

Interested to know where you are getting the data. If using World Bank data that would make the net worth of the Trump cabinet around 690 billion. That would mean you are including Musk and other appointees who are not actually in the cabinet.

Your point still stands, but accuracy matters.

Shouldn't god be on this list?

Thanks for the replies. We're working on a comprehensive almost line by line analysis of the "Reining in Big Tech" section of Carr's Project 2025 chapter for our upcoming Progress Pending newsletter. If you're interested in this topic I'd love to get your feedback on the essay once it's up.
