I'm considering the purchase of a graphic novel version of "The Hobbit." I have never owned a Tolkien book in this format, and this particular one looks very cool.

13" or 15" M3 MacBook Air for taking to the library to write in a quiet, distraction-free environment? I like how lightweight and portable the 13" is, but I also like the larger display and better heat dissipation the 15" offers.

I just scrolled through a lengthy art share thread, and I have to say that I'm genuinely amazed at all the talented people who are sharing their work here. As an aspiring fantasy writer, I admire the ability to put what's in the mind's eye on the page, so hats off to all of you!

Happy birthday to "Fly By Night," released on this day in 1975. It was the second studio LP from Rush, and their first with new drummer Neil Peart. A massive improvement in every way over their debut. Fave tracks: "By-Tor and the Snow Dog," "In the End," and "Beneath, Between & Behind."

Finally finished the fourth and, sadly, final season of "Sex Education" on Netflix today. I'm really gonna miss that show. I greatly enjoyed it. Grateful, though, that it made stars of Ncuti Gatwa and Emma Mackey, who were wonderful in each episode, as were Asa Butterfield and Gillian Anderson.
