Trump is citing the Monroe Doctrine. We aren’t operating in 1823. There are Russian Submarines with the capability to launch nuclear weapons operating off the coast of America a lot closer than Venezuela. This is about oil!

There have been a lot of really asshole comments responding to trumps stupid tweet but there is no trickle down immunity for the men and women carrying out illegal orders. If you have a questionable order go talk to an attorney attached to you outfit, if you’re in the field use your best judgement.

MTG has shown a very different side of herself. I’m somewhat shocked by this turn of events but I think she deserves a lot of credit for the change. I think it took real courage and that is a huge change. Hoping it indicates a crack in the MAGA wall.

Trump told 60 minutes, when Nora raised the issue of inflation that he has brought inflation down to 3% whereas it was 9% when Biden left. Inflation was 2.9% on Jan 20, 2025. He also made general statements about everything being cheaper- does he understand he is talking to people who shop? Idiot !

Let’s all remember that the Archives folks asked Trump to return the docs that belonged to the gov’t to ensure an accurate historical record. He gave back a few files saying, had no more. They knew he did so, got a warrant and searched. He should be paid for that?
