A progressive Christian knows the evil in trying to know or understand wholly; back to the beginning of our existence, attempting to know as much as God led to our fall. We are called to Love, not to Know. If given the option between loving & knowing, always choose love.

If your faith requires you to declare certain people don’t exist, or that affirming all people is one attempting to be “nicer” or “more loving” than God, it is not Christ you are following but toxic conservative dogma that is demonic in nature and practice.

as a pro-life Christian, I believe:
- universal healthcare is necessary
- queer rights are human rights
- Black lives matter
- immigrants deserve protection
- climate change is real & requires immediate intervention
all of these positions based in Biblical truth, life, & love.

if your issue with theocracy only applies to Islamic extremists and not with Christian nationalism, your issue isn’t theocracy, it’s islamophobia.

this is dangerous. to claim people aren’t who they say they are, who God made them to be, based on your own misguided interpretation of Scripture is dangerous. it’s Christo-terrorism and evil.

I highly recommend this podcast, specifically the “It’s in the Code” segment on Love and Empathy. it’s a brilliant rebuke of so-called “toxic empathy,” in a way that clearly demonstrates its inherent manipulation, hypocrisy, fallacy, and simplicity.

In all the talk of toxic empathy, I urge everyone to battle toxic Christianity. In perverting Holy Scripture to fit a demonic narrative, conservative Christians have perpetuated toxic Christianity over those who seek to affirm Jesus’s radically progressive teachings.
