We let staff at both of Rep. Harris' offices know that residents across his district are alarmed about losing their health care and food assistance (SNAP). We asked that the Congressman let us know by Veterans Day if and when he will hold in-person, well-publicized community town halls.

Then on Nov. 3, Progressive Maryland delivered your petition signatures directly to Congressman Andy Harris’s D.C. office. We sent a clear message: the people of District 1 are angry about your votes and we will continue demanding answers and accountability.

On Oct. 27, a group of our Chapter leaders from Progressive Harford County met with two Harris staff members at his Bel Air district office to share what residents have been telling us about the financial and emotional hardships our communities are facing.
