It took about three months of slow introductions to get them to behave enough. Lots of putting the plate of chop veggies half in the cage and half out so they could get used to trusting each other enough to both eat at the same time.

When they’re out they’re together, but they have seperate but pushed side by side cages for when I’m going to be gone longer than 2 hours or when it’s their bedtime and I cover them. Peeko likes to follow Deedee around and Deedee likes to be able to see Peeko or they’ll start doing a contact call

Funny enough I got Peeko here first, then the next year encountered Deedee while looking at parrotlets and English budgies for a buddy for her. It’s funny to see how jealous deedee gets whenever peeko is on me. Peeko is already 6 and Deedee just turns five in November

Pixel looks like my DeeDee. Luckily they picked me when I was birb browsing, so the bitey phase was minimal. Sometimes bites my lip or ear a bit too hard while “preening” my face, but always gives sorry kisses

I only work Fridays if we get four people so we can fire a small local draft and after final fantasy and maybe one edge of eternities draft I have not had to work a Friday night.
