Most of his Coalition colleagues can definitely imagine it and want to make it happen.

A tremendous pleasure to catch up with the Attorney-General, Michelle Rowland, at the Fourteenth International Law Colloquium. The Attorney delivered a great opening address on the colloquium themes of navigating change and building resilience.

No serious party of government would be contemplating abandoning the Paris Agreement

I thought 1789 had done away with these indulgences.

The Libs are flogging the dead nuclear horse. It appears little was learned from the election result.

What happened to Team Australia? This is reckless stuff from the Coalition. We should only have one foreign policy, and Oppositions shouldn’t play favourites with foreign regimes.

The CPACification of the Coalition continues. This is from Senator Cash, the Shadow Foreign Minister, who says the Albanese government is “recognising terrorism” and links the issue to Charlie Kirk. Unhinged.

I suspect this will only make the government more determined to press ahead with recognition.

The Coalition united in its policy of having no emissions targets at all. Worth reflecting on what situation we’d be in if Dutton was elected in May. Most likely we he would have withdrawn Australia from the Paris Agreement.

Senator Matt Canavan, a climate science denier, is leading the Coalition's review of its climate policy, and says that it's likely the opposition will walk away from net zero. Insane.

This is for real. Just bizarre. Presumably millions will now be spent rebranding the world’s largest organisation.

In the blink of an eye we've gone from Australian Holden HQ ute to monsters like the RAM 3500.

In promising to rescind Australia’s recognition of Palestine, the Coalition are now being more Trump than Trump.

Quoted in The Australian today with Ben Saul supporting the international legal case for Palestinian statehood (ignore the headline!)

The Coalition will never be electable while the climate deniers in the Nationals write their climate and energy policy.
