What Pirro is describing here is the job of the police. Trump put the Guard in DC precisely to get the kind of reaction that happened yesterday, which would then allow him to score propaganda points & even impose martial law on the capital.

I remember how hard the "hit piece" on Biden hit. For what Nuzzi has done as revealed in this anecdote alone, she should be run out of journalism. Want more proof? Go to the link that's provided above. Both amazing & devastating stuff.

You can see Big Brother taking shape before our eyes.

There's a decision facing society as to whether the oligarchy will triumph over all using AI as one of its tools, thus creating a kind of human-controlled Borg/Matrix. Of course society might just back into/be backed into this dystopian future. I'm living in Chapter 1 of a sci-fi novel.

I like dressing like a slob, even in public sometimes. But I recall to mind a photo of my father & my godfather "down the shore" in NJ ca. 1948: both were wearing suits. It all was part of a society that had respect for others as an ideal. Yes, it was hypocritical (e.g., segregation), but still ...

And Russia will reject it. Like a great wrestler getting out of an opponent's death grip, Ukraine does it again.

"non-traditional policy coordination" LOL. I would shorten this to "no policy coordination."

Senate Dems need a younger, more aggressive leader. How many more fails do Senate Dems need before that basic fact is realized?

I watched regularly decades ago. I also listened to NPR regularly decades ago. Now I get my news & commentary from various sites on the internet. The screen shots of the Sunday talk shows that I see on Blueskye every week, in particular this joker on MTP, are cringeworthy.

So we're back to the foreign policy chaos of Trump I ... and that's progress, given what we've seen with Trump II!

When I saw her back in the news with the title of West Coast Editor for Vanity Fair, I thought, "What, she got a job in journalism after what she did?" Instead of finishing her B.A. she decided to try for the 2.0 version of her previous schtick. Shame on Vanity Fair for assisting.

Yes, as Josh Marshall & others argued convincingly at the time. Harris had to be it & in fact she stepped up impressively. She would have been fine as president. But Biden left her with some significant baggage & her campaign made some significant mistakes.

"[Right now there are] vast levels of surplus wealth which look unbreakable by anything but government anti-trust intervention." Or maybe revolution, if the government thing doesn't work out & the neo-oligarchy won't let reform happen peacefully.
November 21, 2025 at 6:54 PM
As the bottom drops out of Trump's approval rating, so does the prospect that he'll be successful with his neo-fascist project. On the bright side, it looks more & more likely that historians will be having a field day with this embarrassing period in our history.

Showing up the big big fail of the MSM on this story specifically and covering the Trump era generally. I mean, the contrast is so glaring!
November 20, 2025 at 11:48 PM
Yes, his "civilizer" is working less & less, a clear sign of significant mental changes (for the worse). The Trump of 20 years ago had self-control & an ability to be articulate; the Trump of '25 is obviously in early-onset dementia.
November 20, 2025 at 7:15 PM
Obeying the constitution as opposed to obeying Trump is "so beyond the pale." Yikes! I'm thinking of that scene in the documentary The World at War where thousands of soldiers say as one, "I swear by God this sacred oath, that I will render unconditional obedience to Adolf Hitler."

Same problem with English/writing/reading.

Last week Quarterpounder w/cheese + a Mocha Frappé: $16 and change. And what a nasty burger it was. The fries are lousy, too, which is why I didn't get them.

Thank you for this piece. Yes, it's worked out ok for the Dems. But it should have been by design, not accident. Schumer couldn't control his caucus. Schumer hasn't messaged like Whitehouse & hasn't led his caucus post-cave. What a weak, pitiful Majority Leader totally not meeting the moment.
November 17, 2025 at 10:31 AM
The DOJ has had months to launder the files and take out the worst stuff for Trump. Perhaps it was just today that he received word from Bondi, "Ok, we're good to go!" I wouldn't be surprised if there is material missing from the public release.
November 17, 2025 at 3:37 AM
Except Trump. Blanche is in the process of pulling a "Barr" on the Epstein files the way Bill Barr did for the Mueller report.
November 16, 2025 at 11:29 PM
Can one explain her focus, or lack of it? Sure, the Republican National Committee loves this question, but why is she asking it? Does she think that the issue of the Epstein files & the ongoing coverup isn't important? What an astonishing professional fail.
November 16, 2025 at 4:38 PM
Finally in the 30s, which is where we need to be for the bottom to drop out of Trump's authoritarian project. First the Epstein news today, now this: my day is going great!
November 12, 2025 at 8:14 PM
The thought I had earlier today is that what has happened/is about to happen with the Epstein file will make the 18-minute gap in the Watergate tape seem tiny in comparison.
