Such wonderful convos and questions in presenting Race-Conscious Data @apsa.bsky.social #APSA2025. And glad I brought print-outs of the piece - old tech to go with the new!

Enjoying a few gems already from Du Bois Review, courtesy of @cambup-polsci.cambridge.org Open Access journals at #APSA2025. Poli sci journals should be an easy crossover for @cambup-law.cambridge.org at AALS2026.

For once a clear-eyed email, putting "shock and awe" in its place. Actual leadership from educators in our school district. K-12 teachers, once again the conscience of our community.

My students' discussion questions were due the evening of the weekend Inauguration. Their grief, outrage, and impatience with law were palpable, but so was their brilliance. Starting their day with a checklist never hurts; it became mine too. #CRT

Gratitude to Jamelia Morgan, Rohan Zhou-Lee & Liat Ben-Moshe for their brilliance and insight into practices of #disability justice: Opposing the removal of unhoused people and state retrenchments toward civil commitment of PwD is racial justice, and abolitionist. www.brooklaw.edu/News-and-Eve...

Floored by fatigue from a seasonal bug today, and simply handed out Aura masks to my students to use also. By Year 3 of the pandemic, when we know full well the risks to people with disabilities, the only place I've seen offer N95s freely is this one 👇 Who can name it?

First week of Critical Race Theory seminar - done! Already impressed with the courage & thoughtfulness of Brooklyn Law's students - all 2L, 2P, & 3Ls. The slide that launched 1,000 conversations. #crt #lawsky
