I’m exhausted by doom merchants and popular articles that fail to convey nuances or even basic scientific principles. Even the terminology is incorrect. And ppl jumping on Hollywood movies that are so ridiculous they discredit the real risks. Exaggeration is like repeatedly “crying wolf”.

I’m not sure who is suggesting a leadership challenge but it’s being exaggerated by the rw press and the Corbynista faction of the LP. They are he ones destroying themselves

I tend to agree. Restoration to 2008 levels is unrealistic. Most juniors focus were in primary school then.

In aggregate, it’s not clear humans have any more free will than any other species. Other species have driven themselves to extinction. We might do the same. Either way the Earth would carry on.

Seems fair to me. We provide refuge from danger in their home country.
I’d be interested to know how the policy will apply if successful asylum seekers then apply to stay in the uk through the normal channels.

I suggest you read some proper scientific literature and not click-bait. The gulf-stream is a wind-driven current and the prevailing wind direction is a function of geostrophic processes. Atlantic medicinal overturning is driven by many things including sea ice formation and salinity. Read about it!
