WIPO #CDIP is taking up IP, AI and development. It is a good place to work on 2 development dimensions. 1. Who should pay whom for what. 2. Who should have access for what. The right to research mediates the two dimensions and the tensions between them.

Will the @wipo #DLT prohibit requiring design patent applicants to disclose uses of govt funding and AI? Will it require that all countries grant protection to partial designs? Will there be a new international 15 year term, with a one year grace period? We see Friday. @jamielove.bsky.social
