Which system is not bias, people prefer the system that most conforms to their own bias, or at least does not conform to things they dont like….

What is agile… I remember someone once told me Universities change as quickly as the retirements, probably a bit faster these days. How many still have victorian structures…

They have tried many a phrase over the years, blue skies, etc but it all seems to fall flat with political masters…

Could we put it to the vote, UK science to get more money direct or to FP10? Id be curious if any communities would favour one over the other especially if they were guaranteed the same level of funding for their discipline?

With 50% of Unis running at deficit are we not going to need a reset anyway of how many departments each Uni can afford to support? Mine is laying of at a rate of knots…

I thought QR was meant to compensate for 80%fec? if we had 100%fec would we not have to scrap QR and REF.

According to the website there are other international subscriptions too?

I though it was only future funding that was effected not live grants?
