The ALCS was about as evenly matched as you could script. Also, the Phillies were up 2-0 on Arizona, a series win 88.6% of the time. Not a parity issue

The allure of a tournament is the fact that any team in the bracket has a chance to win a championship. That’s what makes March Madness so enticing, seeing if a Cinderella can actually pull it off.
