Amidst all the awfulness, it’s good to see two new books published on my Configurations series!

On the left, “amethyst sweetbread” ube cookie (Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser recipe). On the right, same recipe except for 30g more flour. Although both are tasty, the one on the right is *much* closer to what we ate on board.

Black and white cookies, attempt #1. Tasty — has the right flavors — but could be a bit cake-ier.

As a last Christmas cookie bake I present my mom’s candy cane cookies. NOW it’s Christmas. I think she would have been happy with these.

I did also bake some sugar cookies, and candy cane cookies are in the queue for Monday.

What I lack in quantity I make up for in decoration :-)
