For my continuing series featuring #Critters in my #garden, here is our latest acquisition. I'm guessing it's a she because she's rather large, no less than 8cm. I've read that the presence of #prayingmantis means the garden is healthy and #biodiverse, is it true? I'd never seen one in over 50years!

🧶 So today I pulled out a pattern I've had for years and never tried - and of course I had to make it in a *totally different yarn*. People, let me give you the Willendorf Venus!

Seems that everyone is posting owls for #SuperbOwl, sorry to be late to the party but here I am with this pic I took 10 years ago at The Bird in Hand in Leicestershire where we were holidaying. Still one of the best AirBnbs I've ever been! This was one of their owls.

Went to the Villa Giulia Etruscan Museum in Rome last September, this is their most famous exhibit - the Sarcophagus of the Spouses. I loved that they put benches in front of it so you can watch it in comfort as much as you like ❤️

Nel mio ci sono anche i dinosauri. Poi non so quanti polentai ci fossero a Betlemme ma da me c'è un'intera gilda evidentemente di emigrati veneto-friulani (d'altronde è un presepe di circa 10mq, di gente ce ne sta)
