Measles is highly contagious and can be lethal. Fortunately, it is preventable. Thanks to the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine, it was eliminated from the U.S. in 2000. Sadly, it is back, largely as a result of misinformation and quackery - 119 of the documented SC cases are unvaccinated.

Seattle replaced tent cities with tiny house villages where homeless individuals get their own lockable 8x12 foot homes. Cost - $2,200 per person annually compared to $40,000 for shelter beds. Homelessness solutions don't require massive budgets—they require respect, structure, and community.

Scientists use mice models for experimentation. ‘Transgenic’ mice are genetically modified mice used for testing ways to prevent and treat disease in humans. The president and his advisors believe these are ‘transgender’ mice. This level of ignorance is dangerous.

Mexico's history spans over 13,000 years. The Maya and Aztec civilizations developed in central and southern Mexico. We should respect this history and recognize that most people in the region still self-identify as Mexican.
