After speaking to someone over in the Philippines on the driver's phone, they said they could take my driver's license. I objected to them keeping a record of license details because, at last check, we don't need our personal data to buy a bottle of plonk. I sent them off, and the boss got a refund.

Happened to us a few years ago. My husband's boss sent him a bottle of champagne. My partner doesn't drive so he couldn't give a license, but he had a proof of age, but the "app" of the driver would not accept that. They would not hand to me even though I had a license and my husband was beside me.
