Spring Thing (www.springthing.net/2025) is an unranked interactive fiction festival where people can submit works and get reviews.

While it didn't exactly personally resonate with me, I will think about it for a while nonetheless. It's a nice touching, modern story with a realistic feel

Nica stops spacing out when she realizes it's me, and she starts tearing up. She's the one who jumps at me. "I've been waiting for so long..." I watch her read. She's always complaining about how much reading she has to do during med school, so I never thought of her as someone who likes to read. Just someone who likes to watch movies. But I'm wrong. Both Nica and Chun have logged into a private instance of a VRChat world that resembles the main streets of London covered in fog. There is no one on the roads. Only parked cars and broken street lamps. Nica appears in her VTuber persona while Chun appears as a harpy. nicatine: Looks like you've spent your time redesigning your avatar. It looks good. chun11: Thanks. My curiosity is answered immediately: she's doing DIY HRT.
