if for example Ras Baraka was allegedly trespassing—Newark police could have issued him a ticket, in the usual manner of things. Some ragtag group of unidentified armed men squirreling him away to an immigration detention facility is flagrantly extralegal even if they claim government authority.
there’s no reason for ICE to have conducted this arrest, and to have conducted it masked, and then to have taken him to a location they won’t disclose, except to terrorize and demonstrate they act outside the law. Seizing the person’s like the core feature of tyranny!
US Attorney for NJ Alina Habba told Fox News that Newark Mayor Ras Baraka is being held in an undisclosed location. She refused to say where he is.
