For context, my personal shift from defined benefit TPS to combined defined contribution/benefit USS meant it will take TEN years on USS w/a MUCH higher salary to earn essentially the same pension as FIVE years on TPS.

Don’t comply in advance. USS is not as safe for retirement as TPS.

Note the ability to open/close the window according to your own desires. There’s no need to freeze your a$$ off because the window randomly opens/closes at will. Noisy outside? No problem, close the window!
