Merriam Webster seems to disagree with the Solicitor General on whether or not a tariff is a tax.

Seems kind of relevant for today and the US writ large right now.

Do you live in NYC? It’s civic duty time. Early voting is open through Sunday & primary Election Day is Tuesday. Many positions have ranked choice voting so you can order your candidates. Thank you to all the poll workers & volunteers working to make the democratic process work for everyone #vote

Why RTO is opposed by those like me who have been doing it for years. No amount of office treats, ping pong tables, or water cooler conversations will make me happier or more relaxed than working next to these two.

This is what leadership looks like. Yankees captain Aaron Judge went straight from the game to the hospital to just sit with his injured teammate because he knew his family wasn’t on the west coast with them. What if all leaders acted like this?

Cruelty is the only point. The Trump freeze order is withholding money from:
1. NC hurricane victims
2. LA fire victims
3. Medicaid recipients
4. Missing & exploited kids
5. Veteran’s suicide prevention
6. Head start education
There is no reason to do this other than to harm the most vulnerable

Why people left Twitter and why Elon is nothing more than your old racist uncle at Thanksgiving who had one good idea that he still holds onto although his time has already past

So by killing the bipartisan deal Republicans killed needed funding for pediatric cancer. They stopped money for kids with cancer. On purpose. I sure hope the tax cuts are worth it.
