Yep! Happens to my partner all the time (also has a PhD). But much less common for me, strangely!

My 10th grade English teacher was awesome and she made us to formal analyses of songs we liked and the one she chose as an example was the Hotel California which she insisted was a perfect allegory for the Inferno, which we read

("You Can Check Out But You Can Never Leave"
king of the hill is wearing sunglasses with flames reflected in them .

let me know if you find one. I turn off the DuckDuckGo AI regularly (i.e. every time I open the browser), but it gets annoying.

Everyone else

That’s true. I should think about that magical skill with the ball glued to his foot sort of thing. Doku does have that. Who else?
November 10, 2025 at 10:57 PM
Doku is incredible with that. I’d say Salah still has to be up there. I mean no one can stop Haaland when he’s on a charge and he’s a nightmare in the air as well.

Incredible time sink, that is

I want the darkest, blackest black imaginable! I tried Borealis from Noodler which is very dark but it's also too wet even for me (and I prefer juicy lines and wet inks). I love take-sumi but am excited to learn of this, so thank you!

I really dislike congregational Judaism (FWIW I come from a rabbinic family and was raised Conservadox so my antipathy for congregations arises from XP) and that's been much harder to deal with than intermarriage. My partner always wanted to raise our child as Jewish and it's gone really well.

I have a non-Jewish partner and a patri Jewish child (nearly of age of majority) and it's worked fantastically well in my household. I know anecdote isn't data but as you pt out the claim that intermarriage diminishes l'dor vador is pretty data-free as well.

We are also unaffiliated b/c +

yeah it should have been allowed
November 10, 2025 at 5:18 PM
ooooo, I'm almost out of my take-sumi and am looking for a new black so this is great thank you

The Shrikarai are awesome. But some of the stories felt really drawn out, circular, and repetitive. Avar Kriss and her love triangles are tiresome.

Overall I thought it was solid and a worthy effort to show the Jedi at a time of relative strength.

Thoughts?
