This would allow the republicans to rule the house for the foreseeable future. If Alito and Thomas retire, SCOTUS will be cemented for decades. And given the electoral college, the president might be lost after 2032 (need to confirm this). It is far worse than what is realized. It doesn't look good.

Not for a while. If they replace Thomas and Alito, the court will be stacked for decades. Starting in 2032, if nothing changes, we will have a republican president for some time. And given that republicans hate democracy, it will take time to take over state legislatures to change the maps.

None of them are afraid. Given the electoral college and the supreme court, they are setup to have the president, house, and court for decades to come. I don't think it is realized how much power they are about to get.

Yes, but because of AI, people are losing relevance in terms of GDP and stock prices. So the wealthy don't care what happens to people.

For some, they are willing to sacrifice everything to get their social policies passed. Some are so brainwashed, they don't understand what is going on. And for others, they are willing to elect corruption so they can participate in their own corruption. It is all a game. And Trump is just a pawn.
