Goodbye to my darling boy, who let me cry all my tears into his fur when I wanted to quit grad school and who made me happier every day I was with him.

I have a folder labeled “Nice student emails.” I’m so grateful for them always, but this kind of unprompted feedback makes my gratitude quadruple. I love what I do and I’m lucky to have such kind students.
