We show that you can make functionalised dipeptide adopt different micelles depending on salt and solve the structures formed using cryoEM - in some cases, there are up to 18 unique conformations from a single dipeptide in the tube:

We can make benzophenone-functionalised dipeptides - if you get the chemical structure right, these self-assemble into micelles that entangle and allow noodles to be formed... you get some lovely SAXS data from these:
