- "Now, are you going to let her sacrifice be in vain? Or are you going to live for her? Live happily? Because you can only choose one."

- "it's fine to play once in a while, gambling with danger. Most of us do it, even if we try not to; it can harm other people around us. Yet you can always learn from that!"

"No need to be negative; everyone dies... eventually... Some risks are taken, and some sacrifices must be made for the safety of others. Everyone also makes mistakes, including me... I make mistakes myself from time to time."
 
Heimerdinger chuckles.
 
"But you have to learn from those mistakes"

- Heimerdinger looks at Jinx carelessly playing with her zapper.

"And I'm guessing you like playing with danger?"

He raises an eyebrow.

"I was kicked out a bit before she joined, I suppose."

He looks at Piltover, where Jinx was pointing.

"I guess it was for the best that they kicked me out... It was about time I retired from the council anyway... but that situation is over."

- Heimerdinger smiles, trying to spread some positivity to Jinx.

His head tilts, curious.

"May I ask what happened to her? There's nothing to be scared of, nothing to be sad about, nothing to feel negative about. Like I said, 'There's always some light in every darkness.' Even if you are broken or hurt, you can always change for the better."

- "That's what y'all have here in Zaun. The council might be trying to protect Zaun; they might have a secret force down here that you all might not know about."

- "As far as I can tell, you all try to work with each other. That's your own army right there... teamwork... a powerful force you can get by agreeing on an idea. Like 'freedom,' a war isn't fought with arguments. It's fought together with a shared idea, a shared dream."

"Well, nobody's lucky; luck doesn't actually exist. As I said, 'life is tough for everyone.' Also, about your question on 'who protects Zaun,' I'm not too sure. Enforcers enforce laws over here under the council, unlike in Piltover. Here in Zaun, you all have your own weapons."

- "You may not see it, but if you look deep down into a dark situation, you can see at least a little bit of light shining within the void."

- "There's positivity in everything; you just have to look and search for it."

He then points to Piltover.

"Piltover has enforcers. Those enforcers throw themselves into harm's way to do their jobs, enforcing the law and protecting citizens!"

"Those, I can't answer. There's nothing wrong with having a positive outlook on life."

Cecil looks around and points to a single father with a child.

"Do you see that? There's positivity there. If he hadn't taken the job to raise his child, the mother may not have taken it."

He looks in the direction of Piltover before looking back at Jinx.

"Not all of my friends are in Piltover. I have friends from different places."

He chuckles.

"And I don't think you 'killed' my 'friends.' You probably severely injured them at most."

"You killed me?"

He raises an eyebrow, curious and confused at the same time.

"Why did you kill people, lad? Did they do anything to you?"

- Cecil looks around at the people walking around in Zaun/Undercity, then looks back at Jinx.

"And if you look around, y'all have talent. Yet, have y'all ever tried putting that talent to work?"

- "But, lad, you're not alone. Not everyone is evil. Though you might not realize it, sometimes life gives you a choice... but when you don't take that chance, then life might not give you another try."

- "Council members have struggles controlling Piltover. They have people blaming them, and sometimes they fall to corruption. Sometimes they get greedy for power."

He smiles.

- "Then I arrived here, you see- you might not realize it, lad- everyone has their struggles, just like the council and other wealthy people. Rich people get robbed every now and then, and sometimes they struggle to keep their titles."
