Mushrooms seen on a hike at Chattahoochee Bend State Park. I love fungi and moss.

A little more rapidly flowing but, here’s my contribution.

I got several new followers yesterday and I’m not sure why but, thank you. I’m a lurker and a news gatherer, an occasional reply guy so I’m not terribly interesting to follow. I do have a rich life (not monetarily) and tons of opinions but I feel so overwhelmed by the torrent, I become mute.

Here’s my latest progress on my patching project. This is my meditation on nonconformity, on maintaining joy and uniqueness, on becoming ungovernable.

Women’s basketball and sewing to avoid learning another thing has been broken. I intend to be expressive and joyful in spite of it all. Let’s go #LSU! #NCAAWBB

I’ve been getting offline to work on my new proletariat uniforms and watch #NCAAWBB. I’ve been ordering patches from Etsy and looking for them when I’m shopping small local businesses.

I’ve had the same inspiration! Found really cool patches on Etsy.

Ms. Farrow, you reach a wide audience but you do not use alt text in your posts. Please set an example for everyone by being conscientiously inclusive. There is a setting you can turn on in Bluesky that reminds you.

I went to a protest today sponsored by #50501 and #Indivisible at Piedmont Park in Atlanta. Have to say, in a metro area with a population of 6.3 million people, I was disappointed in the turnout. Lots of positive response from passersby but, Vermont has us beat today. We’ve crossed the Rubicon!

Hey Atlanta! No Kings March on 3/1 at Piedmont Park, co-sponsored by fiftyfifty.one and Indivisible. 12 noon, corner of 10th and Argonne. It’s past time to take to the streets.

Has anyone ever done The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron? I have never been a particularly creative person, IMO but, I want to tap into any creativity I may possess to cope with the Awful Now. In writing morning pages, I am beginning to synthesize abstract ideas. Would love to discuss! #booksky

Here are today’s dogs in hats. Sprout is not feeling as festive as his hat would suggest while Otis contemplates flying away.

You know what I wish I could put back in Christmas? My brother, Chris who died on 10/2/22 at the age of 50. He had to scrape and hustle to barely get by in LA during the pandemic and I am crushed with frustration and sorrow this year.

An article from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution about women seeking abortion care out of state. I used to want more Democrats to move to Georgia but, I can’t recommend it any longer, for young women in particular. www.ajc.com/politics/num...
