I think this is why meditation is so important. For artists especially. It's important to practice non attachment. Because when you're there with your work but not attached to the result or the idea of failure you can be more free to do what you want or need to in order to create the work.

Somehow I find it very immersive. It makes me feel like I'm in that time period. And I suppose the jank makes me less likely to zone out or get distracted. Like it tells me "hey remember you're playing a game right now not whatever else you have the sudden urge to do."
