I called the SG’s office to express my outrage about the Government’s position in the Abrego Garcia case. I think I talked to Sauer’s assistant, but she would not give her name. I’m thinking that others also had called to say that Sauer’s actions are lawless and cruel.

Trump doesn’t have the attention span to make particularized decisions. Rather than determining which Jan. 6 defendants had committed violent acts, it was easier for him to pardon all of them. Rather than figure out which grant programs are inconsistent with his policy views, he suspended them all.
