also tbh I feel like the answer is that Germans are often such pricks that it completely discourages a lot of people, like pettily and also very rudely correcting people or pretending they don't understand when someone makes minor, MINOR errors

therefore they declared it a "dangerous setting" for police and called the riot squad - over 1 (one) agitated but not particularly dangerous guy. (club security should have called an ambulance and not the police but that's another issue)

I think it was a case of them rushing and throwing things into bags without thinking but still very annoying!!
