Ultimately, when people with power say "violence is unacceptable" - they mean "violence against us is unacceptable", nothing more, nothing less. It foregoes that violence for those with power tends to come from greed, and violence against them tends to come from need.

I tend to use comedy and erotica as a vehicle to sneak in pain and tenderness? Maybe as armour that falls off piece by piece? It might be bc I find it difficult to access sadness so my characters do it for me, but also I write to hurt others, too—gives me a sense of connection w a potential reader.

the world is full of people and it's fucking crazy to cut so many of them out of your life, your future, your vision. how good is your art if you can't draw some god damned fat people. how good is your writing if fat people don't feature, if you have no idea how to describe them. bores me to tears
