They’ve addressed the artifact issue and said it will be fixed for 12.0.1.
The rest of this thread does make sense and I can see some issues with it now that I didn’t before. But again, but you can literally just turn off your transmog if you want to hold a knife.

“Transmog will be free” was definitely a mistake and miscommunication on their part. They did showcase what they meant by that when they elaborated that swapping outfits would be free.
I think there’s a lot of fake outrage here. They have already said they’re going to make the gold situation right

We’re talking like…2k gold max though. Respectfully touch grass. And once you have the outfits saved you can swap freely between them at no cost. I was skeptical at first but it’s actually really nice.
