He/Him. Minnesota guy just trying to be a good dad. Fan of books, games, humor, coffee, soccer, bodily autonomy for all.
@sergeyager.bsky.social thank you for sharing enthusiastically about coffee. I finally had the opportunity to try Japanese siphon brewed coffee this morning and it was a delightful start to the day!

Silvos, Rogue Elemental

This came out in Onslaught, which dropped my freshman year of college when I really started regularly playing. Not only was it an awesome big creature; but that art; and the flavor text? Tell me you don't want to know more about that.

It has remained my MtG mascot since.

That is a wrap on Clank! Legacy 2. Wowza! What an amazing experience to share (we were able to keep the same group from campaign 1). Cannot recommend this enough to break open with 3 friends.

Get some St. Croix February sunrise.

Clank! Legacy - Acquisitions Incorporated 2 campaign is officially rolling now. All four of our players from the first one enthusiastically returned to the table. If you are at all curious about a legacy style campaign game - do yourself a favor and play these!

Let's put a holiday spin on this. Four pieces of Christmas Media to know me.

Looking South East across the St. Croix River this morning.

Bonus. The day before my own baking I got together with family for some baking as well. My grandmother and I make krumkake together, I run the iron and she rolls.

Our other freshman entry to the roster. These are maple brown sugar, with a salted maple syrup glaze.

New one this year. I'm calling them Who-Ville pinwheels. In truth they are sugar cookies using my mom's recipe, but with lots of extra steps to color, layer, roll, and stretch dough before baking. They sure turned out cool.

My grandmother taught me how to make home made biscotti. Hers are usually almond. I do mine with cranberries and pistachio with lots of orange zest in the batter for flavor as well. Serve with a favorite hot beverage.

This one I started last year, inspired by a bakery by my office. It's an adaptation of Marranitos, which is a Mexican gingerbread traditionally in the shape of a pig. This is that in cookie form.

This is another staple that stays in the rotation. The original recipe is for Norweigian pepper-kaker, or pepper cookie. I've adopted it to my own liking and try to pack in as many Scandinavian spices as possible: anise, cardamom, clove, black pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg. Perfect with a cup of hot tea.

Next up is one I've been making with my mom since I can remember. These are chocolate M&M cookies. It uses instant pudding in the dough for a fudge texture.

First up, the crowd favorite, my lemon cookies. These are a very soft almost lemon bar consistency. Packed with three types of lemon flavor.

Okay here is a little Decemberween tradition for myself that I adopted from my mother and grandmother. 'Syv slag kaker' - seven types of cookies for the holiday season. Every year I take some time off and bake quadruple batches of seven different types of cookies to share with friends and family.

Going through this list I think there were even a few more I wanted to cross off but I've only ever watched gameplay of them and not played myself. Bioshock feels like a glaring omission now because of that.

Yes for sure! We'd be fine with that. We were singing the praises of Red Tides to some folks we met at the airport as well. Doing that demo with you guys was definitely one of the highlights of the weekend.

Brisk morning on the St. Croix. Just before winter. But also, and more importantly, just before the coffee shop opened and I could get my cortado and scone on.

Clerks is an excellent answer as well. But by pure quote mileage it has to be the Tremors franchise.
