Eze continues to disappoint. Largely anonymous.

Bought this on cassette after seeing them supporting Nick Cave. The two follow-ups were also very good. Fave tracks: Milky Teeth and Jism

I don't get it

Give us yellows. It'll soon stop. Clearly an Arteta directive. And it's absolutely pointless.
January 11, 2026 at 3:22 PM
Me too. I hate it. The big wait almost never results in a good throw-in anyway.
January 11, 2026 at 3:21 PM
I would be quite happy for refs to give us a yellow every time we take ages over a throw-in. Absolutely drives me insane.

It's tricky. It's both pathetic and sensible. I can see why they are reluctant to cross Trump. He could screw us with tariffs.

Don't forget that one! It's not quite up there for me as I never liked Hymn of the Big Wheel.

Don't remember East Village and I read music papers in those days.

Home kit: yawn
Away kit: gorgeous
Third kit: horrible. far too pale
January 2, 2026 at 11:43 PM
Yes!!! I hate pale colours.

Interesting choice. Sounds promising from the link you gave.

Reasonable article. The reason Farage is riding high in the polls is partly down to the failures of the two main parties. Labour needs to get its act together fast. You'll never have such a huge majority again with which to make positive chances to this country. Use it.

Who is it?
December 16, 2025 at 10:51 PM
True. And personality matters.
December 11, 2025 at 7:40 PM
Labour need a good speaker but there are very few options. Streeting is relatively impressive in that regard but he lacks the likeability factor.
December 11, 2025 at 7:39 PM
Certainly not Reformers!

Mattress stores?!? That's a new one on me!!
December 6, 2025 at 12:21 PM
Interesting. Snow photos can often turn out blue, which i thought was down to the camera underexposing because of the mass of white.

They're in your direct line of vision. Is the photo being taken *through* the fire?
December 5, 2025 at 12:00 AM
It's decades since I read The Wasp Factory and L'Etranger but I don't remember them being abstract. Maybe I only considered them on a basic level at the time.
December 4, 2025 at 2:11 PM
How does a fire on earth affect the colour of something 238,855 miles away?

I thought she communicated poorly. So much so it jumped out at me. Dithery and repetitive. Starmer and Reeves obviously terrible too. And Philippson. I reckon Labour would be 10pts higher in the polls if their main players could communicate better. Streeting is the only half decent one.

Strangely, might not actually make us any better.
