I would be quite happy for refs to give us a yellow every time we take ages over a throw-in. Absolutely drives me insane.

It's tricky. It's both pathetic and sensible. I can see why they are reluctant to cross Trump. He could screw us with tariffs.

Reasonable article. The reason Farage is riding high in the polls is partly down to the failures of the two main parties. Labour needs to get its act together fast. You'll never have such a huge majority again with which to make positive chances to this country. Use it.

Labour need a good speaker but there are very few options. Streeting is relatively impressive in that regard but he lacks the likeability factor.

It's decades since I read The Wasp Factory and L'Etranger but I don't remember them being abstract. Maybe I only considered them on a basic level at the time.

I thought she communicated poorly. So much so it jumped out at me. Dithery and repetitive. Starmer and Reeves obviously terrible too. And Philippson. I reckon Labour would be 10pts higher in the polls if their main players could communicate better. Streeting is the only half decent one.
