One of the best decisions I’ve made recently is shopping for gifts for family months in advance of my trip back home to India.. this way gifts are more thoughtful and not last minute panic buys 😬

To my Kitchener and Waterloo friends, please check out Pasha BBQ in DTK, they have a diverse and flexible menu, and the items I’ve tried there have been delish. Every time I’ve visited there, I feel like the owner understands exactly what I want and modifies the menu a bit to make it 🙃

My own home is a single family one very close to an ION station, hoping we get approached by a developer :)

Kinoko’s oven makes the best desserts ever. mung bean + pandan layer cakes with the perfect level of sweetness (that I only find in Asian desserts :P)

I was going to do something basic to fix a hole near the knee on a jersey fabric pant, but now it’s going to look much better and last longer with her help. This is far more helpful than the 1h I spent on YT looking for a fix :)

Bike lanes on Duke st with a sidewalk for pedestrians. These lead to the Kitchener Farmer’s market. The Region was supposed to add painted bike lanes on Frederick St this year, that would connect nicely to one end of these bike lanes.

What a pleasant surprise to see some new bike lanes on Duke St in Kitchener! No markings on it yet, assuming they’re indeed for bikes. Was biking back from the farmer’s market and found this.
