I feel more and more every day like this country was hit in the head with a brick.
Maybe that's what COVID was. It just feels like everyone is so easy to fool and so desperate for a king or a robot to make their decisions for them.

Our country has been so completely overrun by unprincipled middle managers and middlemen that their siphoning of money is usually explicitly legal. Advertising and administrative budgets are so out of proportion with their real value that they've been able to "promote" themselves into everything.
