I am not saying that American and eng VAs shouldn't have an union but that the SAG-AFTRA should jump off the high horse with making the projects union project(which itself could make CHINA-USA relationship even more messy due to laws about independent unions) and simply drop the must-join BS.
March 29, 2025 at 8:19 PM
I literally tried to used Singapore as a example about the AI laws and I failed to do it well.
March 29, 2025 at 7:54 PM
the fact that non-unions and non-Americans have to go through all that shits are stupid just cus of a stupid status and it can make companies to favor union workers since it would be way less annoying and faster.
March 29, 2025 at 7:48 PM
the Taft Hartley are not guaranteed and still put people on the whim of American goodwill and is very outdated as well.
March 29, 2025 at 7:44 PM
to be on the whim of an American union leaded by a fucking Zionist president.
March 29, 2025 at 7:41 PM
yea, this the fact that if the company signed the agreement as it is, the SAG-AFTRA would have the power to simply force the company to only hire the union workers, I know about the waivers and Fi-Core thingy but even then, those are frankly shit and still force non-Americans and non-union workers-
March 29, 2025 at 7:40 PM
no, I am not saying that, It is clear that I don't have a good way to said about the fact that there are something in the agreements beside from the AI protections(which Miyoho seem to be perfectly fine considering they already have that with non-eng VAs.) that both side are stuck about.
March 29, 2025 at 7:29 PM
that part of the agreement I am fine with, My whole problem with the SAG-AFTRA is the fact that they, especially on twitter, seem to beat around the brushes, on why they seem to be very against not having to force people join the union if they don't want to in the first place.
March 29, 2025 at 6:55 PM
The VAs should have the lawful rights if their voice can be used for AI or not.
March 29, 2025 at 6:48 PM
last sentence sound sus sorry, didn't proof read well
March 29, 2025 at 6:47 PM
wait
March 29, 2025 at 6:46 PM
Yes, that is true, and AI protection and such by laws is the way to do that, not stopping AI in the first place since that shit ass Pandora box is already been open. The VAs should have their voice be enforced by laws either or not if they want company and people to use their voice for AI.
March 29, 2025 at 6:46 PM
if you are talking about using AI at all is wrong, to be perfectly honest, people already are seeing AI usage to not be a awful things and most likely will never again. I see Countries making laws for protection and stopping AI abuses to be a good thing due to it.
March 29, 2025 at 6:40 PM
To be perfectly honest, I don't really have a source and that is my fault, the fact that a VA already consented to be used with AI and that it seem to cause no reactions at all form the peers is a very telling signs. I am aware how vague it sound sorry.
March 29, 2025 at 6:38 PM
they seem to be simply concerned about the potentiality AI abuses to me. You also somewhat ignore my question on why the non-eng VAs seem to not have concerns and worries about the company abusing AI usage from them.
March 29, 2025 at 6:26 PM
It is not about believing the Singapore will help the Americans. It is about why there seem to be issues on both side between SAG-AFTRA and miyoho while it already have agreements with VAs for protections and such from other countries. sorry, it if not making sense, I don't do well tracking talking.
March 29, 2025 at 6:20 PM
no, I am talking about the article you are using, so far there been no signs of AI abuses or so overall the internet for this game and company.
March 29, 2025 at 6:14 PM
Same reply, the article itself don't said if the AI is being used harmfully or not, it is being very neutral and since it is a Chinese company as well, it will have to follow the laws gdprlocal.com/chinas-evolv...

Your article don't say either or not if the ceo was using the ai harmfully or not, it just left it very vague.
March 29, 2025 at 6:09 PM
It was done with consent by the actor due to the trouble the actor was having at the time
March 29, 2025 at 6:07 PM
if a company really don't value its talent, why did they went so much efforts with helping the Paimon va? why The Kr, JPN, and CH VAs don't seem to have any issue with the company?
March 29, 2025 at 6:06 PM
yea that my fuck up sorry, however the fact you are clearly not keeping up news with Asia new and seem to just saying things don't fit with me tbh
March 29, 2025 at 6:04 PM
The Hoyoverse already have AI protection for non-english speaking VAs, the issues are that the SAG-AFTRA agreement have the potential to make Non-Americans va to be forced to depend on the whim of a American union if they get hired or not. Why you American and westerns don't see that??
