Kudos for being the first news organization I’ve seen mentioning that the reason for Trump saying he’s going to create expedited visa is because he screwed it all up in the first place.

He was a terrible person to work with, as staff. Super entitled, and the rules never applied to him. Didn’t bother returning calls, berated staff for his own failures.

Developers (who are lobbyists) and lobbyists (automobile manufacturing, oil/gas, rubber, etc.) have made these decisions, people just buy the houses they can afford from the available inventory unless they’re wealthy and can build their own whatever wherever.

Sure, Jan. Maybe. Here’s the thing though:
If Microsoft wants the power, they can sure as hell afford the billion dollars to get it for themselves AND OTHERS (the “just” part) without a US taxpayer bail out.
But really… Do either of us really know the truth about any of this?

I wouldn’t really confuse what “people want” with what “developers, car/oil/rubber lobbyists have decided to build and make available to the American public…but you do you.

Aside from everything else, the inefficiency is shocking.
Think of the cost for hundreds of uniformed men… salaries, vehicles, bonuses, per diem, meals, housing… to drag a dozen random people who speak English with an accent out of their cars and beat them up regardless of their citizenship status
