two elden ring characters in pvp with some overlays that i can't really explain. the character with the lion mask is attacking and the blue haired character is standing on their left facing them. the blue haired one is going to somehow get backstabbed (as in stabbed in the back) despite not being in front of the lion mask while also directly facing them because elden ring is insane jank

came out decent for a first try, i think. taste is nice. pastry is buttery and not sweet, filling is very warm and just sweet enough. texture is ok, tougher than i was expecting, maybe the layers were still too thick. still get a satisfying crunch and then soft filling.

orghh it is 2 am and i am making sfogliatelle (imagine clams but the shell is a crisp layered pastry and the insides are a semolina/ricotta mixture flavored with cinnamon and orange zest)
a slice of the log from the other image that has been pushed out like a cone, separating the pastry "rings" a cross-section of a rolled log of dough reminiscent of a very old tree. there are a preposterous amount of layers

Here's an excerpt from the book The First Ghosts by the guy I linked. Different ghosts would have different wants depending on what happened to them and could be gotten rid of by an exorcist who said the right words and did the right ritual. This was seen as necessary and was very common. 2/n
