Two Counterpoints:

1. The Underwhere is not based on hell. Everyone goes there first when they die and then can be let into the Overthere if they are worthy.
It’s inspired by a lot of things, but most relevantly, it draws inspiration from the Greek Underworld.

2. Spoilers in the Alt Text.
