Saw #TheWomanInTheYard and I personally enjoyed it. As an editor I caught some very minor continuity errors but honestly the cinematography and shadow play was cool so it gets a pass

Saw #NeZha 1 and 2. Oh my god they were peak. 1 was good but 2 just outclassed and already good movie. I’m surprised how dark the film was willing to get, like I actually felt the stakes, I will be seated for 3

Saw #Opus and actually really enjoyed it. Only read its description so I did know it was horror, although the horror doesn’t go far until the final act, which still worked for me. On a separate note, I actually liked the color of the film, it wasn’t anything crazy but still nice

Saw #Mickey17 and I’m kinda surprised how the film leaned more towards the drama than the comedy. It still had plenty of comedy but the trailers definitely highlighted it quite a bit. The film itself was fine, pacing felt a little weird at times but still fine

Saw #TheMonkeyMovie and idk, it kinda lost me at the end. I get the humor and it was fairly balanced with the horror for 66% of the film, but the humor just stayed even at the climax. Maybe it just wasn’t for me, idk, I liked the idea of the film at least

Just saw #CaptainAmericaBraveNewWorld and like, I don’t think it was the worst thing honestly. More importantly, the gourmet popcorn they release alongside the film is really good. I probably should have spread it out throughout the day because the sugar is giving me a headache

Saw #TheSubstance and oh my god, I knew it was going to be horror but not that level of body horror. Although honestly the needles were what got me to look away. Props to every art team involved, also story wise yeah, as someone with zero body confidence that’s lowkey how you feel

Why is no one talking about #CompanionMovie I just watched it and it was amazing. Honestly if you know nothing just go in blind, I did read a description and kinda wished I didn’t, although I was still surprised, it’s so good and fairly funny

Saw #Conclave and yeah it was good. I would still say I prefer Anora, but Conclave was still good in maintaining the drama throughout while still humanizing what we see as holy figures, both for good and bad. Also it has a good amount of small funny moments

Saw #BringThemDown on a whim, and I actually really enjoyed it. I’m surprised how it made me feel bad for an initially unlikable person, although granted, from the other perspective, I wouldn’t have helped after the crash

Saw #TheColorsWithin and really enjoyed it. I had seen trailers for it for a while so I actually looked forward to it, even if I’m not big on slice of life. Despite that it was still really good and pretty.

Saw #TheRoomNextDoor and it was a heavy film for sure. Still enjoyed it, especially liked the characters, although if I have to complain it’s on the music. The music felt out of place multiple times, and that kinda took me out of it, but at least that was mostly just the first half

Watched #Paprika and not sure how I felt. I want to like it but it becomes hard when it feels like the main character isn’t respected. It still has a lot to like, especially with the fun premise but man, you really feel the 2000s in this one

Just saw #Akira and I did not see the rating so the gore caught me off guard, regardless it was so good. Beautiful animation, no wonder it’s so engraved in culture, surprised in came out in the 80s

Okay, if they’re going to make #SquidGame in other languages they should at least change the story and maybe keep it in the same universe, that way it can’t be predictable and they can milk the franchise basing it on multiple countries. Only issue is they can never end capitalism narratively

Been replaying #PvZHeroes and while I wouldn’t say I’ve played a large variety of card games, I gotta say the game is still amazing and hope they continue updating it, even if it’s only just some balancing patches like the recent update

SPOILERS for #SquidGame2 okay I didn’t hate it, I get why it feels like such a different show, but the one thing that really got me mad is the two betrayers, because both failed so bad at blending in and yet didn’t get caught, especially Gi-hun trusting anyone in the game

Saw #Nosferatu and I don’t think gothic horror is really for me 😕. That being said, the cinematography was absolutely beautiful, I feel like every other scene had at least one stunning shot, minimum

Saw #ArthurChristmas yesterday and I kinda feel for Steve. Being very capable at your job but not having the charisma to rise sucks. Granted the ending was probably what was best, but he could’ve still learned to be the Santa they wanted him to be

Saw #TheEnd and I don’t really know how I feel about it. The set looked good and I liked the premise, but I’m not sure the #Film had a message to end with. The film sorta just ended after a major event, and we sorta never return to the past revelations. There were some cuts that hurt me as an editor
