I'm a non-binary transmasc, so I don't really have any connection towards manhood at least regarding my gender. But I feel like trans men and other transmasculine people who identify as men have been able to show me a much kinder and gentler version of manhood that I've been able to appreciate.

Living in fear of embarrassment or judgement from others based on your creative work will hold you back for a fact. I've spent years deconstructing it and still actively struggle with sharing my art due to it. Create whatever your heart desires and don't let cringe culture get to you.

"Is this cringe? Am I being annoying? Do these people hate my work?" Who cares? As long as you're not hurting anybody you should be able to create whatever your heart desires. Cringe culture sucks, embrace being weird with your creative endeavors.

I've been an artist online for a decade and a half at this point with little to show for it due to me nuking my art accounts out of fear of being seen as cringe and annoying for both my personal work and my fan work. I know many creatives who have been in similar positions.
