Rationalism’s Wet Code

The irony is exquisite. An atheist subculture that worships logic and disdains superstition has turned its sex life into a religion.
They create rules, rites, and hierarchies.
They turn physical access into moral access.
They call it enlightenment when it’s really branding.

That belief, that importance, is the point.
It’s not about transcendence. It’s about narrative control. Ego inflation and validation for the lucky few.

The only real difference between shtupping a tech bro and an unhoused man is that the tech bro needs you to believe his cock is important.

And yet they ritualize it, curate it, optimize it and assign it meaning. They build a velvet-roped sanctum to do what could be done at the drop of a pant behind any dumpster in the country.

What irks me isn’t the sex. It’s the hypocrisy, the need to coat libido in philosophy, to turn appetite into ideology. The prostitution of the need for connection in service of desire.

They say, “We’re cool. We’re progressive. Sex is a casual exchange of vibrational energy between two beings.”

And how do you make that socially palatable? You glaze it in status, slather it in culty spiritual rhetoric, and make it drip with exclusivity.
Frame “I want to get laid” as “I’m exploring new frontiers of human connection.”

A boondoggle Rasputin would be proud of.

How do a cluster of horny, hyper-analytical, algorithmically wired men increase access to sex, minimize competition, and keep as many women as possible free-floating in the marketplace?

Orgies.

And I think I’ve finally figured it out.
It has nothing to do with resurrecting 1960s free love with a modern techno sheen. It’s not about dissolving ego into the collective consciousness of humanity.

It’s a nerdy solution to a load balancing problem.
