Earlier this week I pushed an update to the Principia site that merges the latest, most liked and most downloaded levels pages (both non-archive and archive) into one new page. That's six pages, combined into one now, with all sorting and filtering options right at your fingertips!

The new Principia #YouTube channel has reached 50 subscribers!

It's still just a fraction of the amount of subscribers that the old Bithack channel has (~2.28k), which I unfortunately don't have access to. But it's still nice. New content soon, maybe.

Back in 2021 I made an iceberg image for Principia, full of references. I originally sent it in the Discord server and it was mostly forgotten about, but rediscovered it recently.

This year marks 15 years since the initial #Android release of #Apparatus, 1.0 being released August 2011.

It was revolutionary for its time and reached immense popularity back in the day, topping the charts on Android Market at its peak and being handpicked as "Editor's Choice" by Google.

Today, another batch of fixes to the Principia web port were made.

One of the things I fixed was rendering LuaScript sprites, making levels such as this rendition of the beginning of Star Wars ch. IV now fully playable in your browser without glitches:

Yesterday the #web version of Principia has finally gotten into a state where it is relatively playable now!

There is now a link on each level page that takes you to the experimental web version to run the level straight in your web browser, without needing to install the game.

I have submitted a proposal for a Principia stand at #FOSDEM 2026. Will be interesting to see if it is accepted when the stands will be announced on the 16th of November later this year.

Recently nomad on the Principia community site uploaded a level featuring what is claimed to be a turing complete computer. It certainly looks impressive, featuring an ALU and other components built with Principia's circuitry system.

A recreation of the classic Hill Climb Racing mobile game for Principia by leoboone. Drive a 4x4 diesel truck over a hilly track with lots of bumps. Fuel is limited, and flipping over the car and breaking the dummy's neck is game over.

Tetsu was well known for their detailed and high quality vehicle levels on the old Principia community site. This level features a detailed motorbike which you can drive and do tricks in a ramp track.

A running wheel named BRAD, by Jerm_S, using linear motors to shift the balance, can run both to the left and to the right as well as being able to jump. Do not get any funny ideas about its appearance.

STRONG CLIMBER by TechZ features a grasshopper-looking climber which is able to climb upwards by grabbing onto platforms above it. This level was the winner of the Vertical Climbing Principia building contest back in the day.
