it does say you have to opt in to be found, and that it’s off by default, according to the comments. i really hope they don’t change that. still, private accounts

god i hate this feature on every social media platform. i don’t want everyone in my contacts even knowing i have this account. private accounts seems like a requirement before you implement irl people being able to find and follow you with the click of a button. ugh.
