At some Costcos after you order at the kiosk you have to get in line for the window, they don't call out numbers. Surprised me too the first time I ran into it since our local one calls them out.

When I was 21 I worked up the nerve to tell HR I was being treated inappropriately. Before I could start listing examples he said "no one does that, you're just misinterpreting", and when I tried to say more he told me to stop wasting his time. I was scared of losing my job so I left. Soul-crushing.
